First Annual Wool Week Partners with Joe Fresh, Pink Tartan, Holt Renfrew and UforChange!
The Prince of Wales’s Campaign for Wool will introduce the first Canadian Wool Week from September 29 – October 4, in Toronto. Events are happening all over they city to celebrate Wool Week.
Campaign for Wool is happening around the world. In 12 different countries including France, China, Japan the Germany, New Zealand, Australia and, as of this year, Canada. The Prince of Wales wants to raise awareness about the unique, natural and sustainable benefits offered by wool. Not everyone knows how cool wool really is!
The goal of the campaign is to encourage collaboration between international woolgrowers, designers and retailers. Wool is a sustainable fabric that needs to recognized hence the Campaign for Wool =).
Tuesday, September 23rd- Press Breakfast
The supporting partners will have a few fall wool looks on display along with Laura Siegel.
Saturday, October 4th: Knitting Event, open to the public from 7:00pm onward at the Daniels Specturm. Bring your wool, yarn and needles. If you don’t have any no worries, we will provide some. You can learn how to knit or mingle with other Toronto knitter! More details to come!
