The 1st Time Project is a trans-media initiative about women’s sexuality. Focusing on real women’s 1st sexual experiences, the 1st Time Project starts a conversation about what is really going on in women’s sex lives, reaching beyond generational and cultural divides.
The 1st Time Project is opening the conversation between mothers and daughters about their first sexual experience. This is an important topic that doesn’t get shared and it’s time to open up and talk about our experiences, whether it’s good or bad. The 1st Time Project, wants to and is creating an free space for women to talk about their first time.
This multimedia project will be shared on three different platforms. An interactive website, a feature lengt documentary and a live performance show that will showcase as art.
Tonight is the main concert event at The Virgin Mobile Mod Club (722 College Street) in Toronto that will help fundraise for the project.

Three full scholarships to Accelerate for young people. If you know someone who is young, talented, and interested in attending the best entrepreneur training in the world, please make sure they see this!
Here are the criteria for application & acceptance:
1) Must be under 25 years old, and over 17 years old to qualify (in other words, this is for someone ages 18-24 only)
2) Must be creating a product that will contribute to others and the world in a positive way - not just about making money
3) Must have a design for the product and a “demo” presentation in standard PowerPoint or Keynote format that they can explain
4) “Extra credit” for a product being based on emerging technology, software, etc.

We’ll be offering three full scholarship levels to Accelerate:
1) Platinum Scholarship
=> 1 Ticket to Accelerate Summit in Chicago
=> All bonuses that come with the program
=> Hotel paid for during the event
=> Airfare to and from the event, up to $1,000
=> $500 cash for food and other needs at event
2) Gold Scholarship
=> 1 Ticket to Accelerate Summit in Chicago
=> All bonuses that come with the program
=> Hotel paid for during the event
3) Silver Scholarship
=> 1 Ticket to Accelerate Summit in Chicago

Applications will be by video submission only.
Your video should meet the following criteria and include the following elements:
1) Maximum of 5 minutes long
2) Include video of you introducing yourself and your product or business concept
3) Use a visual slide presentation explaining your product or business idea - give us a “demo” of your product, explain who its for, what it does, and why it’s going to be successful
4) Explain your plan for creating your product, testing it in the market, and building your company
5) If your business is already selling a product or service, show us as much as you can about how you’re doing it
6) Tell us why you deserve to win a scholarship to Accelerate, and why you want to attend
7) Clearly include your name and contact information in the video and on the page that hosts the video
There is a particular interest in technology-based products and services. You will get extra credit if you’re working on something related to technology.
To apply for a scholarship, please follow these three steps:

Today our alumni and cycle 6 film & video students spent the whole day on set at the Children’s Aid Foundation. We won’t say much about what the video is about because we don’t want to spoil it. Once it is ready we will share it with the WORLD! In the mean time see what goes on behind the scenes. A lot of work goes into a 5 min video.

Last week we posted a red wine Sangria recipe using the Little Grape that Could so we are going to change it up this week and post an exclusive white wine Sangria once again featuring the Little Grape that Could.

Prep Time: 5 minutes Total Time: 5 minutes Ingredients:Pour wine in the pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the orange,lemon and lime into the wine, add brandy if desired. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and add sugar. Chill overnight. Add ginger ale or club soda just before serving.

Next Wednesday, May 22nd marks the anniversary date of HRH Prince of Wales visit to UforChange (insert applause here). During his visit to UforChange he not only shook the youths hands but took the initiative to get to know them. Strangely enough he made everyone giggle, even the grown men.

Here he meets our alumni who continue to work in the arts and help out with our Arts Social Enterprise! These three alumni all have side projects and attend school for arts related programs.
