Some Behind the Scenes at the Women’ s Golf Classic

Yesterday the Arts Social Enterprise team was invited to film the 13th Annual Women’s Golf Classic tournament for the Children’s Aid Society. Exciting!

Everyone was asked questions about why they support the Children’s Aid Foundation and how much of a good time they are having at the event!

Here are some behind the scenes!

Deepa Metha is a Canadian film director who is well know on an international level for the trilogy films Water, Fire and Earth (2005).

Vicky Sunohara is a three-time Olympian in Women’s Hockey and is now the head coach for the Women’s league at the University of Toronto.

The crew minus Sarah =)

Elizabeth Manly is a 1988 Canadian Olympic sliver medialist  in the figue skating league.

ASE Youth are on SET!

Today our alumni and cycle 6 film & video students spent the whole day on set at the Children’s Aid Foundation. We won’t say much about what the video is about because we don’t want to spoil it. Once it is ready we will share it with the WORLD! In the mean time see what goes on behind the scenes. A lot of work goes into a 5 min video.

Lets rearrange the lights, again!

It the lighting right?

This is what you say next & any thoughts on Tony’s new hair cut?

This is not a break, they are still working.

“This video focuses on the issue of stereotype, identity, discrimination, exclusion and prejudice based on the color of skin and physical appearance. The video is called “DO NOT LABEL ME” because stereotyping is like a label of products that can be judged by appearance and features. The message we wanted to convey was not only through words, but through tones, rhythm, expression and sincerity- we wanted our expression to be real so that people can see the damage it can cause to an individual. The poem is mix of personal experiences and general experiences of stereotype.”

This video was created by UforChange alumni for a video contest! They are an awesome job and displayed excellent team work!

On Set of The Children’s Aid Foundation Video

The UforChange Arts Social Enterprise did it again! Last Friday our alumni and cycle 6 youth filmed a comercial for the Children’s Aid Foundation. This is a really exciting project and we’re looking forward to working with the Children’s Aid Foundation again.

The Arts Social Enterprise employees our alumni and gives them the  opportunity to work with real clients.

Thank you for giving our Arts Social Enterprise this amazing opportunity.
